Usage Examples
1. A habitual action I run every morning.
2. A general fact The sun rises in the east.
3. Future timetable The ticket office opens at 9:00
Active Form: 1/ Sub + V + obj
I go to school.
2/ Sub + don’t/doesn’t + V + obj
She doesn’t live here.
3/ Do/does + Sub + V + obj?
Does she live here?
Passive Form: 1/ Sub + am/is/are + V3 + (obj)
Rice is grown in Cambodia.
2/ Sub + am/is/are + not + V3 + (obj)
Rice isn’t grown in Cambodia.

Present Continuous Tense
Usage Example
1. An action that is in progress I am watching TV right
at the moment. now.
2. A general activity that take I am training for the
place this week ,this month, Olympics
or this year.
3. Future arrangements. I am going to Sweden
next winter.
Active Form: 1/ Sub + am/is/are + Ving + obj
I am watching TV.
2/ Sub + am/is/are + not + Ving + obj
I am not watching TV right now.

Passive Form: 1/ Sub + am/is/are + being + V3 + obj

Present perfect Tense
Usage Example
1. An action that happened I have seen him on TV.

Present Perfect continuous tense
Usage Example
1. Expressing the duration John has been swimming for two hours.

2/ Sub+was/were+not+Ving+(obj)

Usage Example
